Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This policy explains what we collect when you use Vox, how we use it, and the control you keep over it. Vox is operated by Kyoto Avenue ("we", "us"). If anything here is unclear, email daniel@kyotoavenue.com.
What we collect
- Your writing material. The writing samples you share, the LinkedIn profile and posts you point us to, and the short notes you send us each cycle.
- Your edits and approvals. The changes you make to drafts and which versions you approve. This is how your voice profile gets sharper over time.
- Contact details. The email address and phone number you use to reach us, and the messages you send.
- Basic site data. When you visit our website, your browser stores your light or dark theme preference locally on your device, and our concierge widget may set a session identifier so a conversation can continue. We do not run advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To build and maintain your voice profile and draft posts in your voice.
- To communicate with you, deliver drafts, and take in your notes and edits.
- To run and improve the service for you specifically.
We do not sell your material, and we do not use it for advertising.
Your material stays yours, and stays separate
Your writing samples, approved posts, and voice profile belong to you. We keep each client's material walled off to that client's account. We never pool one client's material with another's, and we never use your material to train models that are shared with anyone else. Your voice profile is built from your writing alone.
Service providers who help us process it
We use a small set of trusted third parties to run the service, for example providers that host our systems, deliver text and email, and run the language technology that drafts in your voice. They process your material only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations, and they are not permitted to use it to train models shared with others. We can share the current list of these providers on request.
How long we keep it
We keep your material for as long as you are a client, because the longer profile is what makes your posts sharper over time. When you cancel, we stop drafting, and on request we delete your voice profile and material. You can ask for deletion at any point, not only at cancellation.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the material we hold for you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your voice profile and material.
Email daniel@kyotoavenue.com and we will handle it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as GDPR or the CCPA; we honor those requests too.
Security
We limit access to your material to the people and providers who need it for the work, and we keep it on secured systems. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it and to keep client data isolated.
Children
Vox is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect material from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated to active clients.
